What this is
A running record of rules, enforcement and guidance that affect people responsible for workplace compliance in the United States, in seven areas: workplace safety, transportation and hazmat, maritime and aviation ground support, environmental and waste, food safety, healthcare privacy and data security, workplace conduct and state law. It is published by the Certified Training USA Compliance Desk, which is a masthead, not a person.
It is automated, and we say so
No person reads each item before it appears. Each item goes through three steps. First, rule-based filters remove advertisements, job posts, event promotions, business and market news, routine paperwork and duplicates, and decide which section the item belongs in from its headline. Second, two independent AI reviewers, run on different models, each judge whether the item is genuine compliance news for that section. Both must agree, on the item and on the section, or it is held back. Third, if a reviewer cannot be reached or gives an answer we cannot read, the item is held, never published. Every decision and its reason is recorded.
Automated checking is not perfect. If something here is wrong, misplaced or does not belong, tell us at support@certifiedtrainingusa.com and we will correct the rule that let it through, not just remove the one item.
What we publish
A headline, the publisher's own short summary where it gives one, the date, the section, any state it names, and a link to the original. We do not copy articles. Federal Register entries show the effective date and comment deadline the agency itself states. Nothing here is legal advice, and nothing here tells you what the law requires of you. For that, follow the link to the agency or ask a lawyer.

Several federal agencies block automated access to their own news pages. For those we rely on the Federal Register and on publishers that report their announcements. A source that stops updating is marked stale and skipped, and the list is re-tested weekly.
